It all started when…

Mikey helped re-open Comrie Garage in 2009 with the previous owner Mr W Beattie. Mikey supervised the day to day running of the garage for Mr Beattie then in 2011, Mikey and Louise took on the lease of the business and began operating as MGK Motors. They ran a successful business for a couple of years then the building changed hands. The new local owners, Mr & Mrs Foster, requested the business name be changed back to Comrie Garage to reflect the fact that the garage is first and foremost here to help the local people with their vehicles and offer fuel as a service for the community.

Mikey and Louise have continued the business since then, always reinforcing the small community values where possible. The garage underwent major extension work in 2015 and 2017 adding on a large extension to the rear of the shop area at the front of the building.
